Ashley Valerie Tay

Ashley has been an online/VFX artist since 2018, specialising in compositing, clean up, matte painting and product enhancement. She has worked on more than 170 commercials till date, including big brands like Unilever, Starhub, Macdonalds, Sony, Samsung etc.

 

She graduated from Nanyang Technological University, School of Art, Design & Media with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Animation with Honours (Highest Distinction). Her interest lies in creating photo-realistic effects and integrating them into live footage, hence her major was Digital Animation (Visual Effects) while in University.

She is an outgoing, creative and hardworking individual who is passionate about film, animation, VFX and design and hopes to continue expanding her skill set in these relevant fields. She is proficient in Adobe After Effects, Mocha Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro and NukeX. She wishes to learn more about pushing the limit with these softwares as well as others which serve similar purposes.
